A Dean’s extension will normally be given until no later than 28 days after the end of teaching for a semester. Application forms for a Dean’s Extension are available on the UFT website or from the UFT office. An ‘E’ will be recorded on the student’s transcript until the work is submitted and marked. If the work is not submitted by the agreed due date the student’s result will be marked in accordance with the penalty for late work, and a Fail may be recorded.
