The UFT is a Recognised Teaching Institution of the Melbourne College of Divinity (MCD), CRICOS provider 01037A.
The Theological Students Association (TSA) has existed from the UFT's earliest days. It aims to represent student views and interests to the UFT and promotes a sense of community within the student body. All students are invited to join the TSA free of charge by completing the membership form available on the TSA noticeboard or from the UFT office and returning it to the TSA care of the UFT office. The TSA is led by a President and committee, including students representing the three Colleges as well as independent students. An Annual General Meeting of members in second semester elects the office-bearers for the following year. The TSA provides a channel for student input to the UFT by bringing issues raised by students to the attention of the Dean or President and by canvassing members’ views in response to requests for feedback by staff. Activities of the TSA include:
Through the TSA, the UFT Office makes coffee, tea and biscuits available in the CTM kitchen for UFT students attending lectures and tutorials. For further information, please contact the UFT office or the TSA directly. The TSA President for 2010 is Claudine Chionh (TCTS). The TSA president can be contacted on tsa -at- uft.edu.au (please substitute the "@" symbol for "-at-" to reduce spam.)
