1. Examinations
Examinations commence on Monday 9 November and conclude on Thursday 12 November 2009.  Students are strongly urged to view the exam timetable on the UFT  website www.uft.edu.au > Important links > Timetables > Exam timetable.  The first 15 minutes of an exam period is allocated to reading time. Please ensure that you acquaint yourself with the time for your exam and allow sufficient time for travel arrangements.

2. 2010 enrolment forms
The new MCD 2010 Application and Reenrolment forms are now available from the Submission Cabinet at the CTM Reception Desk and can be downloaded from the MCD website www.mcd.edu.au > students > forms > coursework.  Please read instructions carefully when completing the form as the layout in some sections has been altered. Students are strongly urged to re-enrol by 17 December.

3. Intensive units in 2010
Several summer intensives are being held in 2010 – please note that these have earlier enrolment dates, in most cases requiring students to enrol by Christmas 2009. In January and February 2010 students have the wonderful opportunity to choose from three intensives: Secular and Sacred in Australia (Katharine Massam), Psalms in Christian Ministry (Howard Wallace and Merryl Blair), and Caring and Teaching in the Church and Community (Randall Prior). Students wishing to take New Testament Greek in 2010 should enrol early as they must attend the presessional days on 12 and 15 February.

4. Buddhism and Christianity as Indigenous Religion
John D'Arcy May, Associate Professor of Interfaith Dialogue Irish School of Ecumenics, Dublin, will delived a lecture ‘Buddhism and Christianity as Indigenous Religion’ from 2pm to 4pm on 11 November 2009. Details on: http://www.arts.monash.edu.au/psi/johndarcymay/index.php

5. Asylum Seekers Facts and Forum for Discussion
‘Hearts of Stone: Australia and the renewal of the border protection debate’ is a public forum being held on Thursday 12 November 2009 from 7.30 – 9.00 pm at the Uniting Church Hall, Elm Street, North Melbourne (near corner of Curzon Street (Melway map ref. 2A H10). This forum on the border debate is sponsored by the Institute of Post Colonial Studies and the Congregation of Mark the Evangelist. Speakers include David Manne and Caz Coleman. 6. Homestay Hosts for the Parliament of the World's Religions Melbourne 2009
Can you help with an urgent request for Homestay hosts to host guests from overseas and interstate during the Parliament from 2-10 December? Volunteers are needed by Monday November 9.
