Employment history
Now formally retired. Currently an Honorary Associate at La Trobe University and Chair of the Advisory Board of its Public Sector Governance and Accountability Research Unit. Previously,  an agricultural officer in Papua New Guinea, an academic economist at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and La Trobe University, a senior executive and ministerial adviser in the Victorian government and a consultant on overseas aid projects to AusAID and TEAR Australia.
