Worship

For Christians, the study of theology is inseparable from the experience of joining in worship of the triune God. The Colleges of the UFT have always maintained worshipping communities, and joined together on regular occasions for joint worship services. In 2010, there are three ways to join in communal worship at the UFT:

  • at UFT Joint Worship services on four Fridays during the year
  • at weekly UFT student-led worship services during semester
  • at worship services conducted at one of the three UFT colleges.

UFT staff and students are welcome to attend any of the services listed below, and are asked to respect the traditions of each community while engaging as fully as possible in the act of worship.

If you would like to get involved in organising and leading the UFT student services, please contact Claudine Chionh on tsa[at]uft.edu.au, or Peter Sherlock on dean[at]uft.edu.au. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and to be part of shaping a distinctive worship community.
